Christmas Bags for the Homeless

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:27. As we bring 2009 to a close and celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, let’s love our homeless neighbors as ourselves through our Christmas Homeless Bag Ministry. Donations are needed in groups of 300 (i.e. 300 combs, 300 oranges) to be put in bags that will be given to our homeless guests on Christmas morning. A specific list of items is posted on the bulletin board leading to Satterlee Hall. In keeping with our wonderful Christmas tradition, we will stuff the bags on Christmas Eve morning in Satterlee Hall at 10:00.
