- Fill Trinity’s Food Wagon!
Parked outside Averyt Hall is a red Radio Flyer wagon. It is a wonderful, simple reminder of our call to feed our neighbors, especially now that Harvest Hope has seen a 100% increase in need since this time last year. The Cathedral has responded to this crisis through the Dean’s Outreach Fund and the Daughters of the Holy Cross. However, think of what an impact Trinity could have if we each responded individually within our corporate life together! With that possibility in mind, we are renewing our effort to Fill Trinity’s Food Wagon! Just add TFW to your weekly grocery or Sam’s list, select one item to bring, keep it in your car so you won’t forget, and drop it in the red wagon on Sundays. As the wagon fills to overflowing, we can visibly see how our life together can truly bless and feed our hungry community. Thank you for your commitment! Most needed items: canned meat and fish; peanut butter; canned vegetables and fruit; canned soups; spaghetti sauce; macaroni & cheese; rice; coffee; canned or dried milk; boxed or bagged pasta; baby food.
