Dean’s Outreach Fund

The Dean’s Outreach Fund was established by a generous donation from a Trinity parishioner. This fund replaced the discretionary fund and is managed by the financial administrator; it greatly assists the Dean’s ability to respond to the many people in need and programs of outreach that are brought to the Dean and are not part of Trinity’s annual budget. One hundred percent of every dollar given goes to direct aid. Donations can be made to Trinity Cathedral and marked "Dean’s Outreach Fund." In 2009 the following were among the ministries and assistance supported through the Dean’s Outreach Fund: Harvest Hope Food Bank - $1,500; Ecuador missionaries: Cameron & Roberto Vivanco - $5,900, Laura Jennings - $500; mortgage assistance to families in need - $2,800; Gravatt Episcopal Camp & Conference Center - $1,000; Cange, Haiti - $2,000; Camp Bob scholarships - $2,000.
