From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required, and from one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.  ~Luke 12:48

Trinity parishioners have been entrusted with the care and preservation of their most sacred and historic church home. Unfortunately, the beautiful Cathedral and Parish House have deteriorated from years of use and deferred maintenance. Now is the time to ‘put our house in order’ and tackle the problems associated with age – cracking stucco, leaking spires and louvers, water damage, electrical challenges, heating and air-conditioning replacement, stained glass window repair are a few of the challenges. We need to solve the problems from the ceiling to the floor and everything in between!

In 2006, the Trinity Foundation hired an outstanding Columbia architect, Larry Woodrum, AIA, to make an assessment of the Cathedral and Parish House and develop a plan for their restoration. The Trinity Foundation and the Vestry have approved these priorities. The Foundation agreed to commit $100,000 a year for five (5) years; the Vestry agreed to commit a minimum of $50,000 a year for five (5) years from the Cathedral operating budget. These lead gifts set the stage for a multi-party partnership. The real success of the Campaign will depend upon gifts from individual parishioners. Many individual gifts, some large and some small depending on the financial ability of the donor, will enable us to protect and preserve our sacred and historic buildings for generations to come.

Together, we can prepare Trinity Cathedral for the next 100 years of service in our community and state. Please, won’t you be a part of this Campaign?
