The Daughters of the Holy Cross is Trinity Cathedral’s Episcopal Church Women. All daughters of Trinity are part of this incredible group. We range in age from 20 something to more than 90 something. We find ourselves in all stages and circumstances of life. We offer each other support and love. We offer our church and the community our time and a commitment as servants of Christ.
Walking by faith is our spiritual focus this year. Most people are guided by life’s circumstances. This is not effective because, as humans, we are unable to grasp the full breadth of God’s plan. Our Father, on the other hand, wants us to trust Him for whatever we need. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to “walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Walking by faith requires a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and trusting Him in every way. The closer we move to Jesus Christ, the easier it is to trust His plan for us. Faith also has to do with “giving up self" so God can lead. We will find that when we turn our needs over to God with prayer, the end result can exceed our limited expectations and desires.
