The Daughters of the Holy Cross is Trinity Cathedral’s Episcopal Church Women. All daughters of Trinity are part of this incredible group. We range in age from 20 something to more than 90 something. We find ourselves in all stages and circumstances of life. We offer each other support and love. We offer our church and the community our time and a commitment as servants of Christ.
Seeking a relationship with God is our spiritual focus this year. Any good relationship takes lots of work. Friendships, marriage, parenting, business partnerships all require a commitment if they are to be successful. Our relationship with God is no different. The very exciting part about our relationship with God is that he is hungry for us to be involved with him. He wants us to talk to Him (pray), know Him (study His word) and live out His will as we allow the Holy Spirit to work through us. It is not a complicated formula but takes time and a commitment. “God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” Acts 17:27-28
