The Earth Ministries program was created in the late 1980s with the expressed purpose of guiding the parish, and the community around it, to a better appreciation of God's Creation. Guided by the ecological pieces of scripture, the ministry strives through practical acts of recycling office paper, plastics and cardboard, to reduce the human footprint on our sacred Earth. We strive to find ways to work with other parishes to make our neighborhoods and city more ecological friendly. The ultimate goal is to make our parish a better steward of God's Creation by reducing our consumption of natural resources and guiding the human family towards a life style that is more considerate of all peoples and environments as God intended.
