2021 Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of Trinity Cathedral Parish will take place on Sunday, January 31. Information and resources for the meeting, including the Annual Report, will be posted here as the information is available. Please take a moment to read through the information shared here to prepare for the Annual Meeting.

Save the Date

The annual meeting of the parish will be held on Sunday, January 31. The format of next year’s annual meeting will be digital; parishioners will meet via a Zoom webinar, and will not gather in person at the cathedral. Information about the agenda, how to access the annual meeting webinar, and other details will be distributed in the weeks ahead and will also be available on the cathedral’s website. Please read through any information shared regarding the meeting. If you have any initial questions, please contact Canon Grosso by email (agrosso@trinitysc.org).

Registration

Since the meeting will convene digitally by way of a Zoom webinar, in order to participate in next year’s annual meeting, individual parishioners will need to register in advance. Members will register by submitting their e-mail address. Please note, every parishioner who would like to participate in the annual meeting and to vote on elections and resolutions needs to register; members of same household cannot use a single e-mail address to submit multiple votes.

To register for the annual meeting webinar, send an email containing the email address you would like to use to access the Zoom webinar to Allison Fowler, Trinity’s membership secretary (receptionist@trinitysc.org). Please send your information to Allison at your earliest possible convenience. The deadline to submit your email for registration is Sunday, January 3, 2021.

Additional information about the annual meeting will be sent in the weeks leading up to the meeting, including instructions for logging on to the Zoom webinar. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact Canon Grosso (agrosso@trinitysc.org), or Senior Warden Wade Stinnette (wadestinnette@wallickinvestments.com).

Nominations

After a careful screening of a large number of candidates nominated by the parish, the nominating committee (led by David Wolff) is pleased to recommend a slate of candidates for presentation and approval at the 2021 Annual Meeting. The 2021 Annual Meeting will take place on January 31. The slate of candidates is as follows:

  • Senior Warden – one year term: Llewellyn Shealy
  • Junior Warden – one year term: Gus Chapman
  • Vestry – three year term: Missy Caughman, Elizabeth Dorn, Hayne Hodges, Clarke Newton, Virginia Ravenel, Doak Wolfe.
  • Diocesan Delegates – three year term: Rusty Miller, Linda Rogers
  • Diocesan Delegate Alternates – three year term: Bill Beckham, Elizabeth Laffitte
  • Trinity Foundation – four year term: Rita Caughman, Mary Weston

 Annual Report

The Annual Report will has been posted below (as of January 25). We ask all parishioners to access it electronically. Please note, the financials will be updated after the Vestry Meeting taking place January 28, 2020.
