Save the Dates!

The 2024 Bazaar will kick off with a Bazaar Bash on Friday, September 27. Join us for cocktails, heavy hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction. It's a "party with a purpose!"

The 76th Annual Trinity Bazaar will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Since its inception in 1948, Trinity’s Bazaar has remained true to its mission of donating all proceeds to selected local nonprofits.

The History of the Trinity Bazaar

The first Trinity Bazaar took place in 1948. It was a dinner and live auction to raise funds for Columbia residents who were diagnosed with tuberculosis.

As the Bazaar has grown, we have continued our mission of raising funds to provide grants to a variety of local organizations serving the needs of our community.

The event is a one-day, family-friendly autumn event featuring:

  • homemade foods such as pickles, preserves, relishes, baked goods and frozen foods
  • hand-crafted items for home and wardrobe (think knit, crochet, art, and craft), gifts, plants and decorative items for home and garden.
  • new and gently-used clothing and furniture, musical instruments, household decor, and ‘trinkets & treasures.’

Come to the Bazaar and stock up on collectibles, find dishes for your Thanksgiving table, shop for your Christmas list, and still have money left over for a little something for yourself.

2024 Drop-off Dates

As you do your spring cleaning, please make note of the schedule of drop-off dates for the 2024 Bazaar. We welcome your trinkets and treasures to be dropped off at the Trinity Center on these dates:

  • Thursday, September 19 - 1:00-3:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 6 - 12:00-3:00 p.m.

2024 Bazaar Grant Recipients

The Alston Wilkes Society is a South Carolina nonprofit organization that provides supportive services to veterans and their families, individuals with justice system involvement, and at-risk youth and adults in our community. The funding from the Trinity Bazaar grant will support AWS’ Columbia Veterans Home, established in 1996, which provides transitional housing and supportive services for male veterans experiencing homelessness, with the goal of helping them secure and maintain permanent housing.

The Cooperative Ministry mission is to increase the economic self-sufficiency of people experiencing poverty in the Midlands through crisis assistance and sustainability programs. Grant funds received will benefit a small emergency food pantry that provides client families with an emergency bag of shelf stable food items. The food bags help families until they reach Harvest Hope or a more robust community food pantry offering fresh produce, dairy, and meat.

Dyslexia Resource Center's mission is to prevent reading failure by raising awareness of dyslexia, providing affordable tutoring services, and training teachers in structured literacy. Grant funds will support the Tutor Assistance Program to serve students in need of financial assistance for reading tutoring. Students are typically one to three grade levels behind in reading. Providing children with a year of structured literacy tutoring will result in struggling readers becoming confident, successful, lifelong learners.

EMS Closet ensures children in grades K-12 in Richland School Districts One and Two have the everyday essentials they need to flourish and thrive in school and beyond. The funding will help advance EMS Closet’s mission of helping students in need attain essential clothing. Without the worry of clothing insecurity, children will be able to focus on their education and engage more effectively in the classroom and the community.

Hickory Top Farms inspires well-being and health through the transformative experience of the horse-human relationship. Participants including Still Hopes memory care residents, pediatric cancer patients and their families, and people coping with grief engage with horses through mindfulness activities designed to develop coping skills to help better manage emotional and behavioral regulation.
