Worship and Covid-19

This is a very different time for the people of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and the world. As of March 19, Bishop Waldo has suspended all in-person worship through April 30. Here is a very brief overview of how we will operate in terms of worship and other activities during this time. Please note, while it is our goal to always provide the most up-to-date information as possible, this information may change quickly as the situation surrounding the virus continues to change rapidly. The best resource for the most current information regarding the virus and it's impact on Trinity can be found here. It is always a good idea to bookmark our site and check back often for updates.

Virtual Worship Schedule

We will offer a few different opportunities for virtual worship both during the week and on Sundays. We will stream these services to our website at trinitysc.org/live as well as our Facebook page: facebook.com/TrinityCathedralSC. You can click here to view the schedule, and here for current recordings.

Children's and Youth Offerings

There are many opportunties for your children to continue to stay connected virtually with Trinity. Click here to view the Children's and Families Ministry page, and click here to view the Youth Ministry page.

Opportunities for Pastoral Care

Whether you are in need of support or you would like to lend a helping hand, Trinity has resources for you. With the fast-moving pace of closures and frequently changing rules regarding in-person contact, we are still working on our strategy for supporting and reaching out to our parishioners and community. Please check back here for more information coming soon.

Financial Support for Trinity

Throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, Trinity Cathedral will continue to be a community that supports people in their efforts to cultivate their relationship with God and with one another.  Times of extraordinary need call for extraordinary faithfulness.

One very important way you can participate in the mission and ministries of the Cathedral during this challenging time is to continue supporting Trinity financially. Trinity’s Finance Office has put together a new Text to Give service that makes it very easy for you to submit your financial offerings. Whether it’s during the offertory that’s part of our virtual service at 10 am on Sundays or any time during the week you feel called to give, our goal is to make it easy for you to do so with this new service. Please click here to learn more about Text to Give.

Dedicated Resource Page

We want our parishioners to be informed about what is going on not only at Trinity, but also in the Diocese and the world. Click here to access our dedicated COVID-19 resource page, where we will link to letters from Bishop Waldo, updates from the CDC, and more.
