Music & the Arts at Trinity Cathedral

Music at Trinity

The choirs of Trinity Cathedral offer praise to God through leadership in music and liturgy. They are also known as a leading choir in the Anglican tradition and have performed all over the world.

There are several opportunities to hear or participate in Trinity's music ministry.

Hear sacred music in worship.

Join us for worship. We offer several opportunities to worship each week.

Attend Choral Evensong and Compline

We are excited to return to in-person worship services! We also offer  these services via livestream at trinitysc.org/live and on our Facebook page

Join us at 4 pm each Sunday (and on select weekdays) for Evensong, a service of readings, prayers, and music. Choral Evensong, a service that dates back to the mid-16th century, offers the finest elements of Anglican liturgy and music. Attend in-person or view the livestream from the comfort of your home.

On Thursdays during Advent,  join us in the Cathedral for a service of sung Compline 8 pm each Thursday.

In addition to in-person attendance, both services will be live-streamed weekly on our website trinitysc.org/live or on our Facebook page, and are sung by the various choirs at Trinity Cathedral. Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

We have exciting concert opportunities coming soon at Trinity! We are delighted to return to in-person concerts this season, offering these masterpieces of the sacred choral and orchestral repertoire.

Join the choir!

At Trinity, we're incredibly proud of the important contributions from all singers who join our choirs. Our chorister program is unique to many churches and cathedrals in the United States, and we place an equally strong emphasis on our chorister program as we do our adult choir program. We have several choirs for people of varying ages:

Trinity Cathedral honors the role of the church in training young people for musical leadership. We strive to provide vibrant, substantial, and fun musical programs for all children who show an interest in music and who can commit to our schedule. Our choirs are open to all people regardless of church membership, religious affiliation, or any other reason.
