Breaking Bread Together
Trinity’s kitchen is the gathering place of the church. As a place to prepare and share meals for parish suppers, youth suppers [Psoup & Psalms], pre-marriage workshops, breakfast bible studies, the Homeless breakfast (every Sunday), newcomer and vestry suppers, lunches for the Wednesday concerts…even our Trinity Daycare hot breakfasts and lunches are prepared daily – Monday thru Friday!
Wednesday Lunch
Join us before or after the Wednesdays at Trinity Concert Series in Satterlee Hall for lunch. The cost is $6.00 and is served from 12 noon to 12:30 and 1 pm to 1:30. Past lunches include delicious soups such as herb tomato, black bean and confetti chili, sandwiches such as ham delights, tuna melts, and turkey and Swiss with chips and/ or a salad. Favorite desserts are gourmet chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and lemon squares.
Wednesday Dinner the Parish Supper
Join us for supper during the school year at 6 o’clock on Wednesdays. The meals are $6/adults; $4/children; $22/family maximum. Many programs are being offered on Wedneday evening and the participants can enjoy a delicious meal together, either before they meet or after! Past meals include BBQ Chicken with Greek Potatoes, Pork loin with Wild Rice, Meatloaf and Fingerling Potatoes, Chicken and rice with salad… the list of wonderful meals could go on and on! Also available are a child plate which includes a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, an apple or banana, and a cookie( when available grapes or carrot sticks too!). Another child plate option is a smaller portion of the main meal.
Holy Delivery
This food ministry was started last year when food was left over and we did not want it to go to waste. Often these leftovers make a few extra plates not enough to donate to the shelters. So we began taking these extras to Trinity members who are unable to partake in the community of faith due to health and or age. If any one is interested in helping with this outreach (help with delivery is always great as is any donation.)
