Trinity has joint adult groups as well as designated Men’s, Women’s, Young Adult, and College Student groups designed to provide an opportunity for adults of the parish to come together for fellowship and spiritual growth.

During the summer (May 26-September 1), we take a deliberate break from our normal menu of adult classes. We offer a few selected opportunities, and encourage you to reflect on God's glory and goodness, and ask what He might have you do these three months.

Sunday Formation - Summer

I Love to Sing the Story

June 9, July 16, and August 11 — 10:15-10:50 a.m. in the Stirling Room
The hymns we sing at almost every liturgy at Trinity are statements of faith, praise, and lament. Have you ever wondered who wrote the text and the music, the theology behind the hymn, the tunes, and the stories of the hymn writers themselves? This class, led by lay members and clergy, explores these questions and more.

Weekday Formation - Summer

Pub Theology at Trinity
2nd & 4th Tuesdays – 6:00-7:45 p.m. in the library
Discussions are planned around C.S. Lewis’ "The Great Divorce" but often wander into other robust theological discussions. Bring a snack and your favorite beverage! This is a casual gathering to discuss questions of faith. All are welcome at this table.

The Dean’s Summer Book Club: C.S. Lewis’s Cosmic Trilogy
Days, times and locations are still being determined.
Did you know that the beloved author of "Mere Christianity" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" also wrote a trilogy about space travel, alien creatures, and the relationship between religion and science? Join Dean Boston as we read C.S. Lewis’s Cosmic Trilogy: "Out of the Silent Planet," "Perelandra," and "That Hideous Strength." These short books are unusual, engaging, and thought-provoking. Pick up copies of the trilogy at your favorite bookstore or online, read while you relax this summer, and take part in some book club gatherings in-person or electronically.
