Our Hurricane Helene Response
As our communities and neighboring areas recover from Hurricane Helene, we are leaning into the ways we can be most helpful and respond effectively.
First and foremost, we want to know if anyone in our Trinity community needs assistance with food, supplies, shelter, or property clean-up/repair. If you have a need, please let us know here or call 803-771-7300.
Secondly, we are mobilizing along with other churches in our diocese to respond to the needs around us by sending forth teams beginning Friday, October 4. If you are willing to join our rapid response team, please let us know your availability and the resources you can offer here.
We also will begin immediately to collect supplies and food so that we can make deliveries without any further delay. We welcome donations of the following items to the Welcome Center before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3:
- batteries: AA, AAA and D
- flashlights
- bottled water
- gallon water jugs
- non-perishable food
- toiletries and hygiene items
- cleaning supplies and trash bags
- diapers, wipes, formula and baby food
- to-go containers (clamshell type)
We will continue to collect these items in the coming weeks, as well, as we know this response will be ongoing.
